Many people’s life goal is to make a difference. However, not many people have the courage, strength and perseverance to actually become that difference. As a child growing up my goal was to help others in tough circumstances. There were many careers that crossed my mind, but none affected me as much as my chosen major. My name is Pia Rossi and I am in my fourth year of being a student at Rutgers University. I am a public health major and entrepreneurship minor, pursing a career in Physical Therapy. My short term goals are to learn and explore broader aspects of my field by being actively aware of public health affairs. However my interest in Physical Therapy arose from several personal health related obstacles I encountered throughout my life, which also inspired me to work later on in treatment and prevention. Although I had many obstacles growing up, it has formed me into the woman I am today.
